Steampunk

As a child Astrid flew the giant birds of Mars, but as an adult she was passed over for smaller jockeys. She longs to return to the sky. When Ian arrives in the airship Phoenix, his friendship renews her hopes for flight, and life, and love. Together 
they battle fierce storms, bitter society mavens, and murderous pirates.
